I must say thought that the public response really pisses me off. After such a weak election turn out, why are so many people making such bad noise?

Well as I said on your brother's blog, the conservatives did win nearly double the seats of any other party, and just shy of an outright majority. So I can see why conservative supporters feel like this is snatching their victory away. That being said, I'm thrilled that these parties are trying to form a coalition and I'm all for it! That's the way the Westminster parliamentary system works - and too bad if you don't like it. I'm just worried that this coalition won't last. I can see the Liberals & NDP working together, but I'm not so sure mixing it up with the Bloc is going to work out.
